The Maratona dles Dolomites, who doesn't know it? One of the "big three" in the world of gran fondo cycling. Not only one of the most famous, but also one of the most popular granfondos. Every year tens of thousands of people participate in the draw; the vast majority gets no ticket. Last year the event could not take place at all due to corona. Therefore, the organization thought of something new: in 2021 there will be an additional edition.
On July 4, the official Maratona dles Dolomites is scheduled. That edition has been sold out for a long time. If you still want to participate, there is a new opportunity on July 11. This extra edition has room for 5000 cyclists. Registration opens on May 1 at 12:00 noon on the basis of first come, first serve. So there is no draw system. The distances and course are exactly the same as the 1st edition.
