The BIKE Transalp is one of the most beautiful MTB stage races for amateurs in the world. In the past 24 years the BIKE Transalp has become one of the most famous cycling events in the mountain bike world. The fascinating Alpine race is the absolute highlight for any mountain biker. In addition to the challenge, the most important thing is having fun, fascination with the course and team spirit. CycloWorld is giving away tickets!
BIKE Transalp is a stage race in which you can participate both individually and as a team of 2 people. Separate rankings are drawn up for both. The minimum age is 18 years.
Unique for the 2021 edition is that many dirt roads are included that were never before included in the BIKE Transalp. Either way, the course will be finger licking good. What can you expect? Glaciers, (un)known passes, adventurous passages, beautiful descents and roads where rarely anyone comes. Make no mistake, this is seriously hard work you will have to walk parts! So if you think you've seen it all, BIKE Transalp is a must. You won't get a more beautiful setting anywhere. Read more about the course here.
During the BIKE Transalp you can count on the best organization you can think of. Professional timekeeping, luggage service, an assistance team, supplies on the course and at the finish, bike wash, technical bike service, a finisher's shirt, a medal and much more. 150 organizers and helpers will make participants feel like pros for seven days.
CycloWorld is giving away one team ticket (2 people) (value €1798) or two individual tickets (value €899 each). What's included is described precisely here. Please note that tickets are excluding travel and accommodation costs. Simple overnight stays in sports halls can be booked as a package for €160 per person (including breakfast). First of all, all the signals are green and there is almost a 100% chance that the event can go ahead. Of course, the organization has taken all safety measures. However, no one can fully guarantee that the BIKE Transalp will actually take place. If you are the lucky one, and the date is rescheduled, you will keep your ticket. If the event does not take place this year, you can participate next year. You may be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test upon arrival. This is not known at this time.
