The Ang Khang KOM Challenge gran fondo is postponed due the current severe outbreak of COVID-19 in the Chiang Mai province. Rescheduling will be done as soon as international travelling to Thailand is allowed again.

The Thailand representative event in the Gran Fondo World Tour ® is moved to later on this year. A new race weekend will be scheduled as soon as possible. “They have the support from GFWT to restart the international promotion as soon as the event is re-launched", said Dani Buyo, CEO Gran Fondo World Tour ®.

Season restart @ 13th of March

The Gran Fondo World Tour ® restarts the series in Spain on March 13 with La Ciclo Experience Garraf Penedes. The event entails a loop which starts and finishes in Vilanova i la Geltrú.

"This is the perfect opportunity to discover the region and get to know the vineyards culture of Penedes and Garraf in pre-season spring" - Jordi Marti, CEO AM Events and Event Director.

This new event near Barcelona is supported by AM Events and the Vilanova i la Geltrú Municipality. The route immerses the riders into the Garraf mountain, the Penedes vineyards area and will be arriving to the Querol Municipality. The finish offers plenty of hospitality with different amenities which guarantee an awesome experience for both finishers and family.

After this, the Series take a break to prepare for the pre summer season with 3 events: Cyclotour du Leman (Switzerland), Seorak Gran Fondo (South Korea), and Madeira Island Granfondo (Portugal). May will be packed!
