How to make a vacation with your non-cycling partner fun

If you have a partner who is not a fanatic cyclist, or not as fanatical as you are, vacations can be tricky. You may want to ride up two or more cols every day, while your partner may want to see the sights or go shopping. The Giro delle Dolomiti has thought of something: the GIRO GUEST program.

How does it work?

The idea is simple. You ride the Giro delle Dolomiti and your partner can sign up for the partner program. This feast, like the race, starts on Sunday and ends the following Saturday. Wednesday is a rest day for everyone. In total there are 6 days, but it is also possible to choose individual days. Some highlights of the program

  • A visit to Bolzano including a guided tour
  • A cable car climb to the Alpe di Siusi
  • A visit to the lake of Santa Giustina
  • Wine tasting
  • A tour of the famous Sella Ronda
  • Shopping in Bolzano

The complete program can be found here.

What does it cost?

The prices are very reasonable: an individual day sets you back 55 euros, the complete program is 300 euros. Transport is included. Another reason to sign up for the Giro delle Dolomiti (July 25-31, 20210).
