L'Étape Rotterdam presents route *discount code*

Many riders will have noticed: the gran fondo is returning to the Netherlands after years of absence! On July 16, Rotterdam will be the setting for L'Étape Rotterdam by Tour de France. Today the organization presents the route. And of course CycloWorld also has a nice discount for you.

• Start and finish are on the track of the local bike club RWC Ahoy, right next to the runway of the airport.
• The first few kilometers are however neutralized. The race will start right before the Erasmusbrug, see "KM 0" in the map. This is also where the time registration will start.
• The Erasmusbrug is quickly followed by the Willemsbrug. Spectacle guaranteed.
• Halfway there's a 2 km gravel section, just before Delft.
• De route is completely car-free.
• Total length 130 km with (still) 353m+.

All in all, a beautiful course where certainly the strong riders should be able to do their thing. The organiser is the ASO, the company that also organises the Tour. In 2025 Rotterdam is aiming to host the start of the Tour, Le Grand Départ. If the port city succeeds, the route of the gran fondo will also be largely run as a Tour stage.

Don't feel like racing?
