Short news: Haute Route, Cyclassics, L3B and free tickets

Omikron variant or not, preparations for the 2022 season are well under way. Which means that there is plenty of short news to report.

  • The popular retro sportive l'Eroica will take place on October 2, 2022. Registration opens on 9 December at 9am. Be quick, this event is always sold out quickly. To be clear, there are many events of this organiser, all with more or less the same name. We are talking specifically about the one and only, from Gaiole, Italy.
  • The provisional route of Les 3 Ballons is known. Something immediately struck us: the Grand Ballon is missing. The total number of distance and elevation is therefore lower: 178 km with 4020m+. The organisation informs us that they have some difficulties to get all the permits. However, there is still busy negotiating so the course is not yet final. We remain hopeful.
  • The Haute Route events are not exactly known for their low prices, but for those who do not want to spend more than necessary: after 8-12 the early booking discount disappears.
  • Registrations for the popular French stage race La Campilaro are open.
  • CycloWorld is proud to announce that in 2022 TOUR Transalp and the MTB version BIKE Transalp will continue to be our partners. You guess what that means, we will be giving away tickets. Do you want to be automatically informed? Add the events to your list of favourites via My CW and you will automatically receive an email as soon as there is news. By the way, TOUR Transalp's route will be announced on 7-12 !
  • And that's not all. In 2022 Salzkammergut Trophy will also be our partner: the Marmotte among MTB marathons. A staggering 205 km with 7044m+ have to be conquered, but fortunately there are also shorter distances. CycloWorld would not be CycloWorld if we did not raffle off a few tickets, so start training.
