• Last week CycloWorld reported that there had been a commotion about the Maratona's corona protocol. The original intention was that every participant would be tested on the spot, which led to massive protesting. The procedure has since been modified. Participants who can provide a recent PCR test, proof of antibodies and/or proof of vaccination will be exempt from testing.

• The give away for the GFNY La Vaujany has been completed. Peter Leegwater (NL) and Jérôme Defays (BE) are the winners. Congratulations gentlemen and good luck with your preparations! Didn't win? Maybe you'll have more luck in the Giro delle Dolomiti give away.

• The Tour des Station has presented a new clothing sponsor: Santini. Of course, that includes a new jersey bij. We think it's a sleek design! Speaking of the TdS, there are still 500 spots available. Switzerland seems to be the country in Western Europe with the most going on for now.

• After Platin, the Gold distance of the Alpenbrevet is now fully booked.

• The popular tour Classico Boretti (July 10 from Ede) now also has a 200 km route. You can find all routes and more info on the detail page of the event.

• The Gran Fondo Serra da Estrela (4-7, Portugal ) has unfortunately been cancelled.
