Numerous cancellations

Due to rising infection rates and hospitalizations, most European countries are imposing stricter COVID measures once more. Of course, this is immediately reflected in the cancellations and relocations of cycling events. Whereas in recent weeks there have always been a handful, at the moment there is talk of massive cancellation. So many, in fact, that it makes no sense to mention them all separately in our weekly news. We suffice with mentioning the big names for now.

Our editors are doing everything possible to keep the calendar up to date. We expect that at least until the end of May there will be almost no events organized. Have you received a cancellation that is not yet processed in our calendar? Let us know.

Weekly updates

  • The GF Mont Ventoux (June 13) has a new course. The approach now runs south of Ventoux, over the stunning Gorges de la Nesques.

  • The decision on whether the GF Vosges will continue was supposed to be taken yesterday, but the organization has postponed it until early April. We're holding out hope. Cycling Classics France further informs us that the decision on Les 3 Ballons will be taken in mid-April.
