The Tour des Stations in Switzerland is one of the most beautiful gran fondos you can find. And this year it's extra special, as the ultra fondo means you'll tick off the epic challenge of everesting. But the other courses are great as well. We'll explain how you can win a free ticket for this top notch event.
The Tour des Stations will be held in the Swiss canton of Valais on Saturday, August 7. The enchanting surroundings are surrounded by the highest mountains in Switzerland. You won't find a more beautiful cycling environment soon. Just like last year, the event will take place. Of course with approved COVID measures. There is really no argument to be made why you should not ride this challenging gran fondo.
With a length of 242 kilomter and 8884m+ you combine gran fondo riding with everesting. An extreme challenge. And there is a special guest, because no one less than Alberto Contador is riding along. He is the world record holder in everesting.
The gran fondo is known as Marmotte Granfondo Valais. At 133 kilometers and 4700m+, it's a beast of a ride, worthy of a true Marmotte.
The medio fondo is also still very spicy with 74 kilometers and 2850m+. Definitely worth the effort.
Do you think this is a cool event? You can be there on Saturday, August 7, because we are giving away 2 free start tickets. Sign up until Friday, July 16 via this link.
