The Vélomédiane Claudy Criquiélion is the most famous cycling event in the Benelux. And not without reason! It's a hard day's work in the Ardennes, going from hill to hill. You can bet your legs will be on fire. We are giving away tickets for the renewed Criq!
Unfortunately, as of this year, the Vélomédiane Claudy Criquiélion is no longer a gran fondo, but a sportive. However, in addition to the sportive, a small gran fondo is organized under the name Le Défi. In this mini-GF there is room for 175 riders, and there are some entry requirements. Read more here.
Fact is that the Criq is still a very nice event, also as a sportive! The organization is still of a high level. The course is still as beastly as ever. The famous climbs like Haussire, Côte de Beffe and the Mur de la Vélomédiane are still being climbed. Riding as a sportive offers many advantages. No more stress at the start, but just start when it suits you. Nice and relaxed touring with your friends.
We are giving away free tickets for this event. You can choose to use them for the sportive or the gran fondo. All you have to do is fill in this form. Do that until Friday, August 12. Saturday morning we will draw the winners at random. You can only participate once per person.
