Do you like beautiful, relatively small-scale gran fondos that are not necessarily super-heavy? And that the crowds didn't discover yet? Then look no further because you've just found it. The Dolomitenradrundfahrt is just what you're looking for. A stunning tour through Osttirol and Carinthia, two of the most beautiful parts of Austria.
If you're in for a slightly tougher course.... On the same day there is also the separate gran fondo: the SuperGiroDolomiti. The only gran fondo in the world with the Zoncolan in the course.
The route is beautiful and challenging without being too extreme. The party starts with the fairly easy Gailbergsattel. Don't think you're home by then, though! Because before you roll over the finish line again in Lienz, the Kartitscher Sattel awaits you first. Not a difficult climb but, at 40 km, extremely long, and also very irregular.
In total you collect 1870 meters of elevation over a distance of 112 km.
