From 2023, there is one route with two different finish locations:
From 2023, you can choose between the KRM Klassik (216 km/4600 hm) with finish on the Kitzbüheler Horn and the KRM Kitz (209 km/3400 hm) with finish in Kitzbühel.
Both routes contain challenging climbs:
Not only 216 km in length, the KRM Klassik finishes on the Kitzbüheler Horn, the fiercest final climb in a one-day gran fondo. In 7.5 kilometres you conquer 924 altimeters. Average 12.3% and 23% maximum. An extreme challenge for gran fondo addicts.
Make sure you use the easiest possible gear, even that is too hard. Whoever gets to the top has really delivered a heroic performance.
The route is identical to the KRM Klassik, except the finish is in Kitzbühel. You can sign up for this distance in advance, but you may also switch to KRM Kitz during the day.
Ideal if you are empty, have setbacks or just don't feel like it anymore. Also perfect for groups, this way everyone can participate at their own level.
Make no mistake, the KRM Kitz is also a serious ride.
