On 1 July 2022, a very special event will take place: Chasing Cancellera Bern-Andermatt. A monster time trial with a 200km gran fondo-like atmosphere of 4500 meters of climbing with some legendary Alpine passes. You can be there completely free of charge, as we are giving away 2 free tickets.
In the long route, you will face no less than 3 legendary passes: the Grimsel pass, followed by the steep Nufenen pass and finally the legendary Gotthard pass (also known as the Tremola). The short route takes you after Grimsel Pass over the classic side of the Furka Pass (past Hotel Bèlvedere) to Andermatt. That will be difficult to choose, because both routes are beautiful.
The organization recommends leaving your car in Andermatt and traveling to Bern by public transport the day before the start and spending one night there. Luggage transport from Bern to Andermatt, but also to both stops, will be arranged by the organization.
It goes without saying that the master himself will also be riding. Meet Fabian at the start in Bern or afterwards in Andermatt. He will be present at the start to welcome every participant and to do a small bike check. Take a picture and have a chat.
