Great news for gran fondo enthusiasts, especially those from the North of Europe. The renowned organizer GFNY is launching a new event in Bremen. Not only is Bremen a lovely city, but it's also particularly easy to reach. At a time when more and more cycling races are disappearing, this is the perfect opportunity to test your legs once again.
It's no secret that GFNY CEO Uli Fluhme, originally from Germany, has long dreamed of organizing a gran fondo again in his home country. With the GFNY Bremen, that dream is becoming a reality. But it's not the only reason he's excited about adding the 35th event to the GFNY series:
"GFNY Bremen is part of the world's largest series of gran fondos, with 35 races scheduled in 2025. All of our races are very international, and we expect participants from over 30 countries in Bremen, including riders from across America and Asia. The gran fondo also serves as a qualifying race for the GFNY World Championships. Additionally, by completing three GFNY events in one year, you can earn a special 3X medal. With seven races in France and now Bremen, that's definitely within reach for many CycloWorld readers."
Registrations are now open on the official website. Sign up quickly, and you’ll have your first goal for 2025 set, making winter training easier. By the way, we will be exploring the course very soon, so keep an eye on this site for more insider info. Will we see you on August 31?
