The GFNY France events are known for their beautiful courses and excellent value for money. The season opener GFNY Cannes adds one more thing to that mix. You start and finish in Cannes, a city famous for its renowned film festival.
On March 23, 2025, you can be part of it: GFNY Cannes. A delightful cycling event in the French spring sunshine, offering the perfect opportunity to kick off your season in style.
You have a choice between two routes. The gran fondo (timed race) covers over 110 kilometers with two thousand meters of elevation. Not too difficult, but definitely no walk in the park. If that's a bit too much, you can opt for the medio fondo, which is 57 kilometers with a thousand meters of elevation. As always at GFNY, the medio fondo features a mass start, but no timing.
From Cannes, both routes make a loop to the hilly northwest. This area is characterized by quiet, well-maintained roads, stunning views, and plenty of elevation changes.
There are countless rides that use this slogan – and to be honest, we sometimes tire of hearing it. But to be fair, no organizer fulfills this promise better than GFNY France. Be a Pro for a Day means that every participant, at their own level, experiences the day of a lifetime. The high quality is reflected in the plentiful aid stations, numerous marshals, safety focus, perfect signage, and much more.
