It's October and that means the dates for the 2022 events are currently coming in large numbers. We list the most important ones for you. And of course, there is more short news.

• Because of the French elections, both the pro and amateur versions of Paris Roubaix and the Amstel Gold Race switch places in the cycling calendar. The AGR sportive now takes place on Saturday, April 9. The amateur version of Paris Roubaix moves to April 16, 2022.

• Cycling Classics France has published the dates for a number of well-known gran fondos for 2022. The GF Vosges 15-5, Les 3 Ballons 4-6, La Marmotte 3-7, Tour du Mont Blanc 16-7. 

• The site of the Maratona dles Dolomites has been completely updated for 2022. The package trips can be booked from today through various providers, including of course our partner Enroute. The date: 3-7-2022. 

• The date for the Italian stage race Giro delle Dolomiti is also known: 24 to 30 July 2022. This year CycloWorld was on site, read Wouter Fioole's stories and get inspired! 

• The date of La Corima Drôme Provençale is also known. March 27, 2022. 

• Old pro Stefano Colagè was tested positive during the Italian amateur championships last June. His performance at the time raised quite a few eyebrows, as the 59-year-old finished 2nd overall. Colagè can expect a six-month suspension for the use of steroids.

• Bram Tankink has come up with a new initiative: Ridemeister. It's a platform where you can book a cycling experience with a pro.
