Exciting news from the Netherlands: a new gravel event is born: Marly Grav. This new three-day event takes the place of two well-known predecessors: the LTD Gravel Fest and the UCI Gravel Fondo Limburg.
Marly Grav is a three-day gravel festival featuring various activities. From Friday afternoon, May 9, to Sunday afternoon, May 11, an extensive program will be held in and around the Shimano Experience Center in Valkenburg, according to the organizers. "Marly Grav Expo is the place for bike brands, gravel gear, and everything gravel-related. Riders and visitors can enjoy various Marly Grav Stages with entertainment, live music, and DJs. Additionally, you can enhance your gravel knowledge through workshops, social rides, clinics, podcast recordings, and the Marly Grav Café in the evening, featuring guests from the gravel world. Naturally, the relaxed gravel vibe will be present, with food trucks, craft beers, stretch tents, hay bales, and a cozy outdoor atmosphere."
CycloWorld will also be present to record a podcast!

During the weekend, there are two main events. On Saturday, May 10, the first event is a sportive called Marly Gravel Fest. This continues the tradition of the well-known LTD Gravel Fest—a relaxed day of gravel or mountain biking in the beautiful South Limburg region, with stunning routes of 80 or 130 km.
The following day (Sunday, May 11) features the UCI gravel race, now named the Marly Grav Race. According to the organizers, the goal is to develop this UCI event into a 'monument' within the UCI Gravel World Series. A revamped (but not yet published) course of 100 or 160 km is part of the plan to achieve this.
Registration for both events opens on December 12 via the official website. Previous participants already have early access.
Discount on event tickets up to 50% and much more.
