What is the Road Bike Summit?

Five great events over the long weekend of September 1-4. All in the beautiful surroundings of Gstaad, Switzerland. At CycloWorld, we are big fans of Switzerland. The roads are in excellent condition, the views are phenomenal, traffic is low. An awesome overall experience. What is there to do during these four days?

• The Emperor : a 4 day stage race including 1 gravel ride, start/finish of all stages will be in Gstaad.
• The Steep : a mountain time trial.
• La Reine : a ladies event with many extra's, including a riding skills workshop.
• NEO Bergkönig : a semi-gran fondo with a few timed sections and three different courses: 170km, 115 km, 65 km.

Bike testing

Gear junkies beware! During the event you will have the opportunity to test equipment with Dream Bike Testing. If you are in the market for a new bike, but you don't know which one yet, this is your chance. Or if you just like to ride a different bike for a change. Affordable accommodation?

Let be honest: Gstaad isn't the cheapest Swiss destination. Still, affordable accommodation can certainly be found in the area. Some tips:

• Search on Booking.com. Top tip: both Les Diablerets (25 minutes from Gstaad) and Gruyères (45 minutes from Gstaad) offer affordable hotels in sufficient quantity.
• Plenty of affordable options at AirBNB.
• Both Saanen and Gstaad have good campsites.
