The legendary stage race TOUR Transalp will add two shorter variants in 2025. The classic seven-day distance will simply remain. As a result, participants now have a choice of three route options.
The 7-day variant will remain. The course will account for some 750 kilometers with 15,000 meters of elevation in 2025. The starting place and course are still unknown, but the organization already reveals that the race will start next year in Germany. The dates: June 15-21, 2025. Be sure to read through our report from this year to get a better idea at this event.
With this new option, you ride the final four stages. You start immediately with the queen stage and finish the TOUR Transalp with the rest of the peloton. In total, you bridge about 500 km with 8000 meters of elevation. Definitely not simple, in other words. The dates: June 18-21, 2025.
In this variant, you ride just the first stages. So you start right with the riders riding the complete distance on June 15. Then you'll ride the first three stages, good for 350 km with 6000 meters of elevation.
This year, too, it was not possible to ride all stages. Under the name Explorer Days, it was possible to ride stage 1 or stages 1 and 2. Fifteen riders took advantage of this option in 2024. This option will disappear for 2025.
