Belgium's most legendary ride, the Vélomédiane Claudy Criquiélion, is going to be revamped again. Last season it was already decided to shorten the gran fondo to 69 km and 1250m+. The original courses continued as a sportives-with-time measurement. In 2023, gran fondo will disappear after just one edition, but a gravel event will be added.

The main reason is cost. Organizer Laurent Goffinet "It took 80 signalmen out of 120 participants. That cost was exorbitant.'

• Vélomédiane défi 133km, 2871m+*. With time registration, no classification
• Petite Crique Ardenne Etape 97km, 1920m+*, with time measurement and no classification.
• Vélomédiane Gravel 70km, elevation unknown*. With time measurement, without classification.
