QH is not just a popular gran fondo—it’s also exceptionally beautiful and impressively well-organized. What makes it truly special is the large number of spectators cheering along the route. In terms of quality and prestige, this event is on par with renowned gran fondos like the Ötztaler Radmarathon and the Maratona. We were there ourselves in 2023; read our report to experience the atmosphere and get a sense of the course. The route winds through a lesser-known, but no less stunning, part of the Pyrenees.

The highlight of the course is the Col de Marie-Blanque, famously featured in the Tour de France. As it should be, the route is completely car-free.
